I am an independent celebrant specialising in highly personalised ceremonies which truly offer respect to the lives of those being named, married, partnered, remembered or honoured in any way.

My whole career before celebrancy was dedicated to public service, in both education and the National Health Service. This has given me a life experience of practical empathy and made me a sensitive and creative public speaker. For over forty years, I have been committed to helping people of all backgrounds to develop and live their lives fully and happily. Key to that has been the sharing and telling of stories. Human history and literature is a rich web of storytelling, I love to help people find their own personal narratives within that. I live in North Yorkshire, but see geography as no barrier to providing the right ceremony.
